Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his part in the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. At the age of 18, he began to take an interest in acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. He has been in TV and films, however the small screen characters which gained him fame as well as an extensive audience. He is able to portray characters of both good and bad side in the law enforcement system. He can draw the attention of viewers effortlessly. He played the serial killer role in the first TV show he appeared in as well as later portrayed of an NYPD detective.
